ALBERTO, unveiled weddings creative director & principal photographer

Bringing over a decade's experience in photography with a unique eye for the unexpected, Alberto shoots with a personal approach and natural ability for putting people at ease on their special day. He is bi-lingual in English and Spanish, available for shoots in the New York City area, Charleston, SC, Mexico's Riviera Maya and further destinations around the world. When not busy shooting, Alberto can be found working on language #3 (German), searching for the perfect taco al pastor, and exploring the globe for inspiration - where he admittedly still spends time behind the lens. Alberto currently resides on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with his wife and partner in crime, Lauren.

1. Your wedding photography style in 5 words or less:

Photojournalistic, creative, fun, romantic, natural

2. Favorite part of the wedding day to photograph:

I love capturing both the bride and groom getting ready, photographing details, portraits, and especially candid moments with each person’s closest friends and family. I also love the 1st look - a great time to get creative with the bride and groom to capture stunning, editorial-style (and fun!) shots.

3. Favorite/craziest wedding moment you’ve captured:

I had such a blast shooting a recent wedding in Jamaica. Can’t go wrong with the combination of an amazing couple and spectacular scenery!

4. If you could shoot a wedding anywhere in the world, it would be:

The Italian countryside...although the Greek islands are a close second!

5. If I weren’t a photographer, I would be:

The owner of a killer taqueria-beach bar somewhere along the Riviera Maya in Mexico. Salud!
