PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Hello & Hola!
I’m Alberto, and I was born & raised in vibrant Mexico City. Ever since I can remember I've been fascinated by people, cultures and travel. This fascination grew into a hobby, and now a full-time career, with capturing people, places and moments through photography. This didn't happen overnight though! Soon after graduating university in Mexico with a Bachelor's degree in Media Communications, I decided to dream big and move to the center of it all: New York City.🗽 Starting from scratch in a new country, I knew I had to hit the ground running, work hard and find my focus. So I did just that. I began studying professional photography while simultaneously bartending, DJ’ing and even trying my hand at real estate. Soon, I found my calling in wedding photography as not only my passion but a door to our amazing world.
As a full-time wedding photographer going on 5+ years, I now spend my time capturing everything from weddings and elopements to engagement sessions and surprise proposals, vow renewals and more, in addition to pursuing travel photography as much as possible. This passion for love stories, travel and cultures has made me a happy nomad and I am also #passportready for weddings and more shoots in further destinations around the world. 🌎
I am bi-lingual in English and Spanish, available for weddings in New York City, the Tri-State area, Mexico and anywhere else your heart takes you! When not busy shooting, I can likely be found working on language #3 (Italian), searching for the perfect taco al pastor, and exploring the globe for inspiration with my wife and partner-in-crime, Lauren.

1. Your wedding photography style in 5 words or less:
Photojournalistic, creative, fun, romantic, natural
2. Favorite part of the wedding day to photograph:
I love capturing both the bride and groom getting ready, especially those candid moments with each person’s closest friends and family. The excitement and anticipation is building for the day and you can feel it in the air! I also love photographing the 1st look. Such a special moment between the bride and groom with irreplaceable emotions.
3. Favorite/craziest wedding moment you’ve captured:
I had such a blast shooting a recent wedding in Jamaica. Can’t go wrong with the combination of an amazing couple and spectacular scenery!
4. If you could shoot a wedding anywhere in the world, it would be:
The Italian countryside...although the Greek islands are a close second!
5. If I weren’t a photographer, I would be:
The owner of a taqueria + mezcal beach bar somewhere along Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Salud!
