Ok you are about to ask the love of your life to marry you! this is amazing but do you know which ring she will love for ever? Well, no matter what ring you buy she will be thrilled but if you want to create a better impact and if you have the money there is a few things to consider.

 The 4 C's

The price of the Diamond depends on the 4C's color, clarity, cut and carat weight. The bigger, the brighter, and heavier the more expensive as well. The shape of the diamond also counts.

The Metal

Engagement Rings are normally Gold, Silver or Platinum. Remember that you want something classic that she can like for ever. Neutral colors like silver or white are easy to match with any dress or clothes she will be using. Yellow gold still being used bot more and more people are heading towards neutral. Platinum is the most expensive because is a stronger material. Gold or silver you can see more scratches.

The shape

Now is time to select if you want a solitaire or a few little diamonds on your ring. That is personal choice. You have no idea what she likes? Don't worry, take a look of what she is wearing right now. Take a peak on her jewelry box to have an idea.

Get Protected

Make sure that your Diamond comes with a certificate of authenticity. This will confirm that is real and it came from a trustful resource. (You don't want to use Diamonds that are coming from slavery environment in Africa or another parts in the world).

Some places offer upgrades in case that she wants to exchange it for something bigger or different in the future, also look if the offer free cleaning and polish services, etc. Ask your Jewelry store what they can do for you.

Consider this

More and more people are moving towards another kind of stones like Rubies, Emeralds, or another material that is beautiful cheaper and don't come from the Diamond exploration companies. Very important! Once that you have the ring in your possession. Make sure you hire an Engagement Photographer to capture the moment when you get into your knee and pop the question. Those memories are priceless! * picture by google:

Hello & Hola! I am an experienced wedding photographer & storyteller based out of New York City and Mexico City with a passion for storytelling through the lens. Whether it’s a smile or a kiss, a portrait or a place, I ensure dedicated attention to each and every shot – resulting in beautiful, high quality photography capturing your moment.

Growing up in the vibrant surroundings of Mexico City, I developed an eye for beauty from a young age - be it in the obvious or the unexpected. After moving to New York City in 2002, I turned this eye into my passion: photography. I studied at The New York Institute of Photography and currently belong to the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), The National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).  I've been honored to have showcased my work at numerous exhibitions including at the Soho Gallery for Digital Art, Museo del Barrio in Harlem and Art in Times Square, and was thrilled to be selected as a photo contributor in National Geographic’s “Life in a Day” film (2011) produced by Ridley Scott.

I am bi-lingual in Spanish & English; available for weddings in the New York City area, Mexico and further destinations. When not busy taking pictures, I can be found writing my first book "Aprende Fotografia y su Negocio," working on language #3 (German), and scouring the food scene for the perfect taco al pastor (not so easy). I currently reside on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with my wife and partner in crime, Lauren.

From weddings, engagements and proposals to family and individual portraits, locations to events, let my team & I turn your moment into something spectacular!
